People often ask me to tell them, to what percentage my readings are accurate. They ask this because it's a thing. There are many psychics and tarot readers who claim specific percentage of accuracy. I normally respond politely with statements like, "I've been doing readings for nearly 35 years and my clients are very happy with my work. They tell me I'm right on."
The other day someone asked me this question when the filter between my mind and my mouth wasn't working. I just blurted out, "Anyone who claims to be accurate to a specific percent is bullshitting you and I wouldn't trust them."
Honestly, how do they arrive at this number? How do they track how many statements they made to each client and exactly which of those statements ended up being true? Did they take a psychic test where someone in another room looks at pictures or draws images and they get to guess what is happening in that other room? High scores on such tests are impressive but making a heartfelt human connection with a person and not only reading for them but delivering the content in the most ethical, most compassionate and most honest way possible is quite a different set of skills.
In every profession you will find people with various skill levels as well as completely different levels of honesty and ethics. Good to know that if someone makes such a claim, it is probably a benchmark of their integrity.
