A woman came in recently for Amaranth energy healing to help with some stress and physical symptoms. Just as the healing was about to start she mentioned, "Oh, by the way..." and she told me of a devastating loss. "I thought, I should mention that." She added.
"Would you like some support for that too?" I asked.
"Would that be too much to ask" she inquired.
"Absolutely not. " I assured her
As soon as the healing began, she began to cry. "Oh, no. I'm crying. I'm sorry."
"Have you given yourself much time to grieve?"
"Well if you need to, it's safe to do it here. I'm with you. I'll support you"
Resting my hands gently over her heart I reminded her that grief is an expression of love. I asked if she could feel the love behind her tears. I guided her to feel into that love that is eternal and to feel how powerful that love is that it can transcend death and remain untouched by any of life's circumstances. I guided her to feel how constant and unchanging that love is and imagine holding both the love and the sadness in her heart at the same time.
The most gentle, comforting energy began to flood my whole body and pour out my hands to support her as she cried. Then asked I her to think of one thing she could be grateful for. I asked if she could make room in her heart for that gratitude too. She nodded and more warm energy flooded from my hands.
We continued gently expanding her heart space to hold as much love and gratitude as possible to accompany her grief and to surround and fill her with gentle, comforting energy. Her tears eased and we continued the healing in silence. I could feel my own heart expanding as I shared this process with her.
After the session, she told me she had never felt such a deep peace.
